Industrial Microbiology and Applied Biotechnology

taking place at the Botanical Garden Conference Center, Galati, Romania, on October 9-11, 2008.

The conference will receive support from:

• the Applied Biotechnology Association (ASBA);
• the Romanian Society of Biotechnology and Bioengineering (RSBB), which is affiliated to the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB);
• the Romanian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (RSBMB), which is affiliated to the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) and International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB);

The conference language is English. Papers will be published in the Romanian Biotechnological Lettersincluded in Thomson Reuters Master Journal List (http://scientific.thomson.com) and in e-journal Innovative Romanian Food Biotechnology (http://www.bioaliment.ugal.ro/ejournal.htm).

The conference will be followed by a reception and a trip on the Danube River.
